Maddie - Tumble and Assistant Cheer Coach
Maddie grew up doing gymnastics, and has been coaching beginner to intermediate classes since 2018. She didn’t start cheerleading until university but wishes she’d discovered the sport earlier! She was the tumble coach and joint choreographer of her Uni cheer team for 2 years, and is a qualified Level 1 coach. Her favourite parts of cheer are stunting and tumbling, and she hopes someday to learn to fly partner stunts! She knows how important it is to have fun and make friends in cheer, and hopes to bring loads of energy to every class. She’ll be teaching some of our acrobatics classes, and can’t wait to meet everyone and get started!

Maisie - Dance Coach
Maisie has been a junior assistant at Duchy Dance Academy. She has just completed her BTEC dance in school alongside her GCSE’s and has been a competitive dancer with Duchy since we opened. Maisie has been dancing since she was 2 years old and is very excited to help share her passion for dance with the next set of young dancers. This year Maisie steps into a supervised coaching role as she works towards gaining new dance teaching qualifications. She has a natural talent for choreography that we can't wait to see develop through the year. Maisie is heading to college to further her dance and teaching skills and we're so excited to support her on her teaching journey.

Lily - Assistant Cheer Coach
Lily is stepping into a new role, becoming an assistant cheerleading coach for both Diamonds and Emeralds Competition teams.

Sophia - Assistant Cheer Coach
We're very excited that Sophia is stepping up and becoming an assistant coach for both Sapphire (Under 12 Level One Competitive Cheer Team) and also for our Junior Acro class too.

Roanna - Dance Coach
We're so excited to be welcoming back Roanna to Duchy Dance Academy. She has spent the last couple of years developing her own dance practice and competing nationally.

Junior Assistants
We have lots of our lovely senior students who give up their time to help assist in our classes week on week. Each of our junior assistants are working towards junior coaches qualifications in either dance or cheerleading. They help make lessons fun and enjoyable for all those who attend classes at Duchy Dance Academy.
